I feel overwhelmed to express both mission and vision of NSRC, established in 2007 with renowned professionals and intellectuals across the capital representing different zones and disciplines of society. As the president, I seek into the spirit of NSRC i.e. to cultivate a society driven by the principles of rationality and action by eliminating social, bureaucratic and political evils with the best efforts of its members and associates.
Nepal is enriched with tremendous potentials and ornamented with beautiful natural jewelry. To retain this, human endeavors are indispensible as there are various scars and wounds caused by different social and individual interests. The vested interests of such Nepalese people have pushed the nation to the margin in terms of economic and diplomatic development and deals in the global context. The image of the entire country has withered and the magnificent and glorious history of the nation has been inflicted in the dire poverty of both intellect and economy.
In the ultra postmodern era, I make sure that NSRC shall prove a milestone in unearthing problems from depth and propagating new techniques and trends for sorting out the prevalent problems in order to let the country speed up the tempo of prosperity, progress and promotion in all respects of human needs, concerns, interests and values.
To help the government make right policies for addressing abrupt and subtle issues of Nepalese society with the expectation of boosting up alleviation of poverty that has worsened the impression of the nation among the international communities.
I think our nation is not poor; the existing condition can be reformed through joint and collaborative actions and programs between the government and non government organizations committed to uplifting the society outreaching all possibilities of development and progress.
I confide in the team of NSRC as it is endowed with zeal, passion and vision to reach the cut out point of progress, development and prosperity. For multi-dimensional development of the society, again I would like to assure everybody that NSRC should remain engaged in converting potentialities into reality.
